Radial End Face Marking Tools
New Method Steel Stamps’ Radial End Face Marking Attachments provide a marking solution when you need to mark the end face of a part. As with our other New Method Steel Stamps solutions, radial end face marking attachments operate efficiently; the roll marker advances, marks the part, then clears it as the main tool slide or turret returns. We also manufacture end face dies, which can easily be switched out of our end face marking attachments, maintaining time and cost efficiency in production.
Our all-purpose precision automatic roll markers can mark any material being machined, including stainless steel, brass, aluminum, plastics, and special alloys as well as production parts. The 900 series roll marking attachments can be equipped with threaded shanks to permit direct in-line mounting with reference to true pitch diameter, transferring numbers of characters from the cone of the die to the flat end face of the part. Moreover, by using a flat die, Model 900 Series holders will do angular marking on a part while holding absolutely true prospective dimensions.
The Model 909 will mark directly on centerline, either a single or a line of characters. It will also mark 360 degrees around the face of a part up to 1-1/2" diameter.
The Model 521 is for large diameters (2" and up) and uses OD marking dies or the 541 Interchangeable Type Retainer. This tool is primarily used on Automatic Screw Machines and Vertical Lathes.
The Model 815 is used on CNC Turning Centers for marking the end face of larger part diameters (2” and up).
